Evening. Smile

An over-hot day here, but still a little breeze, so not too bad.
Just about caught up again (except for one or two), but I think they're forecasting rain for Monday.

Are you expecting some rain tonight lara? It's still nice here. Smile

Yes I knew I was chancing my arm a bit with my little list mollie, but I think I just about got away with it. :ninjs: Big Grin

I really hope it's Mo that goes, but I think the pundits are saying Bex unfortunately? Frown

I liked Rex at the begining, and think a lot of what he is saying is because he is bored and doesn't really want to be there, but it's unecessarily cruel at times.
It would be duller without him though.

Hi everyone,

I feel exhausted by your reports of gardening and housework. Using a router is pretty tiring, as I once found out. My wife had her cast removed last week and is going back to work on Monday. Thanks for your concerns. I won't be able to run away from her now.

My general impression as a non BB9 viewer (who relies on forums and blogs for updates of the show) is that Rachel most deserves to win. From what I've read, she is considerate and keen to avoid arguments. Some have criticised her for not having an opinion. She may have an opinion but doesn't need to force it down everyone's throats. Some say she's boring. They said the same about Susie. I say that she seems interesting - even rebellious - because she refuses to conform to the bimbo, wannabee stereotype of a young female housemate.

For me, a housemate who many may perceive as entertaining (ie loud, self absorbed, argumentative, attention seeking)is boring because I've seen such over-exagerrated behaviour so many times before. I've always looked for decent, considerate people whose company I would enjoy. Feel free to tell me I'm talking rubbish because I'm commenting on a show I haven't seen.

Good Evening Everyone.Wave

Hope it's Mo that goes, then we can see what happens with the Luke/Bex romance, it would give them all such a shock if Bex stayed, don't think she deserves to go, she gives far to much to the show, where-as Mo doesn't give much at all, except for making sure the food doesn't go over it's use by date.Big Grin

Hi John.Wave

Glad your O/H is back on her feet again, and back to work as well, that's good for you both.

Rachel is a nice girl I agree but not that I could watch her, when you don't come out with an opinion it's very hard to have a conversation really because whatever you say will be lovely and if it isn't agreed with she won't say so i just don't see how you can sit on the fence on everything an not be seen as boring, and that's what the HM's really, someone without an opinion.

It must be great for her boyfriend, but when someone asks for her opinion on a dress or something you know the answer before you start, which means she will never be able to tell the real truth.
She just says what you would like to hear probably.

But your opinion is appreciated as is everyones, different people see different situations differently, just don't ask Rachel what she thinks.Big Grin

Oh dear, Rebecca is out. Frown

There have been loads of threads on the forums today saying "Get Bex out" and "Keep Mo in".
Why???? It's beyond comprehension for me??? Confused
How can anyone think that Mo brings more to the house than Bex? Roll Eyes

Hi Emptybox.Smile

Can't understand it really, just think the young girls want any females out that make a play for the fellers, it seems that way anyway.
They just want a house of fellers to look at exercising their muscles.Big Grin

There's no-one left for me to watch now so i'll just have to see the evictions on a Friday, the rest that are in there now are a waste of space.

What on earth does Mo do to keep the house alive?

It's beyond me, we have Kat, Rachel, Mo, Maysoon, the excitement of watching them.

Good afternoon all Wave

what another hot one. pphhhewww....

am off to do a bit more shopping, did food shop earlier, now clothes sales stuff.

Hope you are having a good Saturday all.

looks like I am in a minority, but I am enjoying BB. Smile I'd had enough of the flesh flashing, and the backstabbing from Bex, and she even admitted she never even fancied Luke. I didn't think she did all along.

I find Rex, Darnell, May really interesting characters.

catch you all later. xx

Hi John, I'm Stars. Good to meet you Wave and everyone else in here Wave
That is good news that your o/h is on the improvement list.
I concur with your precis of BB9 although I watch the eviction interview night, therefore I watch the highlights on that night. Rachel seems to be the best housemate in there. The others are a on a sliding scale of annoyance.

Good Evening Lara, Mollie & Stars.Wave

I'm not pleased that Bex went, Luke is lost now, and it will become a cookery class from now on, can't see much happening, they are just talking about getting out so don't think there will be much to watch really.

Mo will be over the moon, but can't see him doing much but eat.

As you say Mollie, Rex may be interesting if he stopped talking about his G/F, but will he?
And Darnell is in a world of his own, don't think he has anything in common with those in the house at all, but as Bex said, he can suddenly turn on you so the real him hasn't really come out yet, he is holding himself back, he turned on Mo the other night so they better be careful.

Hi Stars.Smile
Nice to meet you.
I agree Rachel seems a nice girl, but this is BB9 and she's out of place, it's supposed to have some life in the program and it's like listen with Mother.
She's far too sickly for me, well the words she uses are, she talks to everyone as if they are about 6yrs old.

Hall Stars... Wave Smile
welcome to the thread.

Rachel is a fave of mine too. Smile

And I think it is not fair of BB to continually promote the lie that she has no opinions. Wasn't it her who was one of the few that wasn't scared to stand up to that awful Alex, when Alex went off on one at Bex at chip time? I think Bex said some really nasty things with Luke, about Rachel behind her back.
Rachel may be quiet, but is not afraid to say her piece to anyone. I often see her standing up to things Rex says to her, but I know they are friendly. Smile

And I know Rachel isn't perfect, especially as Hicky says she can talk to some folk like they are a child, she does it with Mikey. Probably her teacher's voice working overtime. Big Grin But I think she is a good decent type, and has been nasty to no-one in the house. Smile Many have been horrible about her behind her back though.

Hope you have had a good Saturday. It has been far too hot here again today, so I have just eaten a Mars ice-cream. Big Grin

hallo John Wave

that is good news that your wife is out of the cast now, Smile let's hope it hasn't left any weakness at all.

No you are not talking rubbish imo. I like to see decent people doing well in BB too. Smile
I think there a few decent interesting people in there this year.

I think you are probably sensible just keeping your BB interest down to a minimum . Big Grin I get behind with jobs if I watch too much, or I miss out on beauty sleep, and I need my beauty sleep the more older I get. Big Grin

Hope Emptybox hasn't overworked today, and that he kept his hat on in all this hot weather.

Hi mollie. Wave

I did some work here, and I definitely kept me hat on Big Grin
It was hot, but it was hazy sunshine rather than full on burning stuff.

Not sure if there's going to be much to watch on BB now. I didn't even particularly like Bex, but at least she was something to watch.
That Kat and her horrible "Happy How" song is really begining to irritate.

I think Rachel could do well, but she's got to start being a bit more prominent from now on.
You'll be pleased to hear that Ash has taken a bit of a shine to Rachel and thinks she is a genuinely nice girl. Darnell is still her favourite at the mo, I think. Big Grin

Is anyone still watching BB, I gave up after about week 4 and if the truth be told I shouldn't have watched it for that long.
There is normally at least on with some kind of redeeming quality but they have managed to find a brethren of complete morons.

Hope you are all well by the way.Big Grin

Hi dja. Hope you're OK. Wave

It's not the best Big Brother, is it? Frown
As bad as BB6 if not worse, and that's saying something.

Are you easing your way back into foruming? Smile

Good morning all Wave

I've got time to call in early today, before I walk the dog, because she is still asleep, I think the heat exhausted her yesterday. Big Grin

Emptybox... glad to see you kept your hat on. Big Grin
The sun was shining in the bedroom windows by 6am this morning, so looks to be a hot one again.

Big Grin so Ash likes Racheal , I am surprised, I thought she'd be too quiet for her. I like Darnell too, find him an interesting character, he tries to do right by all, but fights to control his temper.

Yes Kat does seem a nice enough girl, but the singing gets a bit much, because it is so loud. But apart from whingers Dale, Stuart and Luke all the others seem to enjoy a loud sing a long with her. I think the miserable 3 far preferred to back stab others in the bedroom !

Wave dja.

hope you are well. Wonder if you are still dieting ? Hope not, else you will be thinnnier than Luke by now. Big Grin

I like this years BB. Big Grin

A broader mix of people than we have had for ages, and harder tasks at least, and not so many bimbos.
