I have a closed of balcony but I forgot to close the windows last night and 3 pidgeons were in there but 2 went out but one has stayed and has kept giving me looks, it has evil eyes!! I tried to scare it but it just won't go!

I hate pidgeons.

LOL... my so called veggie friend has taken to shooting and eating them... cos they were pooing on her car.

They do give you evils though. We have one called fat pigeon (not sure if he himself goes by that name... but is what we call him).

When he sits on our fence it creaks... nearly shakes it out of the posts when he manages to grab a girl pigeon for some pigeon lurve. (alot of that going on on my fence at the mo, wouldn't mind if they didn't poo whilst they were at it Eek )

I apologise, I don't speak Pineapple!

They are a pain in the neck. I have two irritating fat wood pigeons that stole my sweet peas when I had just planted them. I think the same pigeons ate my gooseberries when I wasn't looking. They really are the limit.

You sound like my uncle lol. He has camped out to see if it was the pigeons that had had his gooseberries. It was... but, they weren't eating them... just liked pulling them off and throwing them around!

I might be your Uncle - but let's not go into that for the moment. You made a good point about whether or not the pigeons themselves ate the gooseberries or whether they just dislodged them and some other creature ate them. I'm now wondering what other animal may have scoffed the dislodged gooseberries. Have you or your uncle any suggestions?

No - I'm ruling that out. I think the plural of gooseberry is gooseberries so the geese wouldn't catch on. The berries don't (or didn't) look like individual geese either. This year they were pinkish and hairy.

I'm pleased to see you and I'm hoping that you didn't snaffle up my fallen gooseberries. As far as I know cows don't eat gooseberries and I'm rather glad they don't because of the subsequent constitution of the pats.
