I think that the threads have been pulled because quite a number of them were growing in lengthy in pages and were slowing down the forum. I had started a coffeeshop one back in June of last year and it was there up to the early hours of this morning and it now gone whooosh. It seems that any thread that had pages longer than three pages or so were pulled.

I agree that the reason for innoccuous threads being culled is because of their sheer enormity of volume, but Bagel had only started the latest installment of The Rhyming Thread a matter of days ago. I think it only had about 8 pages.  |

Well I can't see the length of the threads making any difference, on the other site we have threads of over 3,500 pages all the time, and this place is just as slow after they delete the threads so it isn't that.

There is a sticky at the top of the index page explaining it was an IT error. It seems they are trying to get some of the missing threads back.
