You would love it here, thats why I moved here 11 years ago, well one of the reasons anyway!It is hot right now and going to get even hotter the next couple of months.

i waited patiently for it to stop
it was nice and coool so i put on a fairly heavy shirt and a thick cardigan got into the car and away, by the time i got parked and into the town centre it was hotter than the sahara and i was dressed in a thick denim shirt and even thicker black wool cardy, by the time i got back to the car (carring half a ton of already cooking meat from the butchers) and the now removed cardy i found the inside of the car was slightly hotter than an oven.

the rapid drive home was done with the air con on "ice age" in the hopes of saving the meat, arrived home to the smiling face of my o/h saying "why on earth did you wear that lot in this weather", well at least i found a parking spot for some of the meat (joking but very, very, very close to reality), anyway everything is in the fridge or freezer for the weekend now, i'm in something a little more suitable, i'll wring out my shirt later


so, whats next, a nice thunderstorm for tonight, who knows, welcome to british weather.
