i took my dog out and was just on our way home (her decision) and was waiting to cross a very busy road when i saw this little dog racing down the hill on the other side of the road. I put my hand up to warn the drivers coming round the corner (i could see doggy they wouldn't) she got across the road safely but still no owner in sight.

I sat on the grass and held a biscuit out to it and it was inching closer until my dog (as i already mentioned had decided her walk was over) took the biscuit out of my hand and let out a bark to let me know enough was enough and she was going! The wee dog took off again but i saw where he went!

So i got chloe home and practically threw her in the back door and went back to the river with chloes lead to see if i could find it! I have been over there for the last hour and met someone who met someone who was looking for him, but i couldn't find them either. I have a rough idea of where i think he is (sonny's his name) but no number for the people and they are just dog sitting! I've been looking for over an hour but no joy!

I find this quite upsetting cause i know how i would feel if it was chloe (but due to the fact she is crippled and spoilt rotten the chances of her running away are slim to none... actually make that none to none)

I might go over again later and try again and if i get him phone the vet to see if he is chipped!

Aw Yogi I hope you manage to find Sonny and that he is ok when he is eventually found

Aaaw Yogi, i hope everything is okay, it makes me upset too when animals are hurt or in trouble.

I am not at all sorry to say I really laid into someone yesterday, had a huge blow up at this guy from a traveller site, as I was driving by and I saw him whipping this beautiful horse, I just saw red and stopped the van and started shouting "How about if I whip you too, would that be okay?" (but with a lot more swearing), then a lot of angry people appeared behind him, so I thought I better scarper! Anyway the RSCPA have been informed now by me and another onlooker of what was seen and they have promised faithfully that the site will be investigated, I am praying the animals are all removed and given to good homes.

i went for another look and can't find him, and as i don't know who to get in touch with i don't even know if he has been found

good for you for doing something about it!! too many people see that sort of thing and think "ah, that's terrible" and don nothing about it!
