Apparently for services to the music industry!, I wonder how many songs she has actually written or produced herself, methinks NONE!. She's a joke and the whole idea of giving her an OBE for that is a joke. A bit like her fashion range, she must spend hours in the studios with a pad and pencil coming up with each design, again highly unlikely!
Ah well just shows you what being blonde, thin and supposedly cute and pretty can do for you! Hypochondria is the one disease I haven't got. I can walk on water, but I stagger on alchohol. |

I heard about this on the news.
Why on EARTH is she being honoured with anything? There are much more worthy recipients who have dedicated their life to music, live and breathe it. She's just some two bob actress who jumped on a soap star sing song in the 80's, got picked up by SAW and has had been lucky with good producers ever since  Just shows what good PR can do for you resplendent |

I dont agree with actors singers etc getting them. They should go to the people that really need them Like the men and woman fighting for our country

why do people need them. of what use are they. The armed forces already have a system for awarding servcie medals and rightly so. I'd do away with the whole system, OBE, MBE, Lords, Sirs , Peerages the lot, Tottenham Hotspur - League Cup Winners 2008 |

I disagree. I didn't used to like them but the older I get I think it is good to prase people when they have done well. Anyone can now nominate. In a few years I shall nominate someone I know who will never be famous but saves lives every day. |

i work with someone who recieved a MBE for work in the community during last years floods
great guy but to be honest he was getting paid a heck of a lot of money in his job abd litrally 100's of staff were doing the same and didnt get the recognition but hey ho Marching On Together “Ross: First divorce, wife's hidden sexuality...not my fault. Second divorce, said the wrong name at the alter...kinda my fault. Third divorce, they shouldn't let you married when you're that drunk and have stuff written all over your face...Nevada's fault. |
