i hurt my knee doing the hula hoop

and it told me i was obese (i knew that but didn't need it to tell me at 5am)

and it says my fitness age is 16 years older than me

and it keeps asking me why i don't fall over more

and a horrible man tried to make me do push ups and i can't

Sounds like great fun!

We plan to get one when we can - by all accounts they're selling like hot cakes though so probably won't be for a few weeks

if you manage i would recommend it highly. But i know it has sold out pretty much everywhere. I like being able to see the progress i am making.

Have stayed off it today though cause my knee really does hurt!

My Wii fit came on Friday, but the kids have been finishing a game on the Wii, so I haven't had chance to use it yet.

Now I am beginning to wonder what delights it is going to tell overweight , very unfit me !

I managed to get one - haven't tried it yet...made my son try stuff out to let me see how it goes.... I'll be giving it a go in private.

Looks like it could really make a difference and be quite fun...but as with all of these things it will come down to motivation!

At the moment the spirit is willing ...... it remains to be seen how the body will bear up!

I was really nervous about giving it a go - but it's really quite fun I think it's down to being realistic about what you can expect of yourself.... I plan to take it very very gently

I'm going to buy a wii and the wiifit in june when I come back from holiday...it looks fab and I tried mario sports in work yesterday and I loved it..I was running and jumping hurdles

Yes it is fab Effie, and you can throw away those bathroom scales with a Wii fit around.

I am taking it very gently too Hoochie, don't want to do myself a mischief. Am mainly doing balance exercises, haven't tried any of those press ups yet.

Wonder how Yogi is getting on now ?

mollie I've been doing the jogging, (the short jogs)the stepping (gradually untangling my feet ) and the yoga...and trying bits and pieces of the other things. I really am a couch potato so my target is to spend about 45 mins a day so I'm not doing my tubby little mii too much damage

Haven't managed to get near it today though with football etc being on so I think it'll probably be a weekday thing for me...even so much more than I've been doing up to now and it's fun so more chance I'll keep it up!

oh yes, I forgot I had a go at the stepping one too... good fun, but I had to think about which foot went next, when I followed those Mii's.

I also managed to unlock the tighrobe walk after having a few goes ski-ing. Have you unlocked any new games yet ?

They gave my Mii a tubbie bellie too, straight after I got weighed...... I didn't like to see that chart shoot up to the obese either !

It will probably be a weekday thing for me too, house too busy at weekend.

6lb in 1 week felt blooming brilliant with that one... then gave the exercises a miss over the weekend and ate what i wanted and put 4lb back on pmsl... but at least i know i can do it... back on tomorrow
