I drove through it once on my way to Newquay, from what i remember it was quite hilly but also very scenic.

I do recall seeing references to the 'beast of Bodmin' as we drove through. So when i got home i looked into it further.

Not sure if the Beast of Bodmin is a myth or not. Photographic evidence was proven to be fake - it was a cardboard cut out. But there has been plenty of sightings of something.

Bodmin moor is a spooky place. But watch out for those Dog walkers. (the ones with invisible dogs and night vision lenses.) Cool Moon Nod Thumbs Up

I used to get a train in one direction and the trains in the other direction were all named after places in the West country. Trainspotters collected the names. Bodmin was one of them. They got really excited when Bodmin went by.

my sister went there recently. She said the old jail was very very spooky. although they do a lovely cream tea!

she said the jail was one of the spookiest places she had been to, and that's saying something. Put me off going there a bit! But it's in a lovely part of the country.
