I know what a boring stupid thread but I am involved in a lot of heartbreaking sadness at the moment and need severe distraction so there! Big Grin

well a loo roll would last 2 weeks with me on my own coz I have all sorts in my bathroom like wipes etc...when brother and mate are with me it lasts a few days especially if they have been out on razzle which is most nights if they are not training

I use kleenex or andrex, have tried using others but always come back to them for their softness and gentleness Wink

How long does a loo roll last you and which one do you use...any tips for using it for anything else too? Ninja

hello lovely Bagel Valentine

First of all NEVER apologise for ridiculous threads - they are the best sort IMO and you will always get mad people like me who answer them! Crazy

Hmmm - now Loo roll
*thinks*
I have no idea - we have 2 toilets in our house and 4 grown ups so someone always changes it. Not very long I would imagine. I tend to buy a 9 roll pack every 3rd week.

Bagel - a big hug for you and your family and a special blessing for your lovely Dad as I am sure this is what is causing your sadness Frown Hug

Bagel came on here this morning to look book title up feeling like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders and in my heart. In all honesty most of which is down to me and trying to bite my tongue when I'm feeling resentful and all of those bad feelings against people who don't deserve it.You made me laugh and that always makes everyone feel that bit lighter Clapping At home with my little ones I'd taken to buying the puppy rolls extra large, they would only just fit so could not be unrolled at a rate of knots. Laugh

Andrex for me. So long as it's not that Aloe Vera stuff as that just feels wrong o_0
I have no idea how long it lasts, I've never really kept track of that Laugh

My Gran has a loo doll!
My Aunt's Mum use to knit the outfits for them and give them as Christmas gifts when she was alive. Not now she's dead or that would be freaky... "Loo Dolls from the Grave!" Eek
*coughs*
Anyhow,
I used to feel sorry for the Loo Doll when I was younger. Having to sit there and watch people poo all the time.
I stole a pair of my Sister's Sindy doll's shoes and gave them to the loo doll, as she had to stand on the toilet in the cold all day, where Sindy had a nice bed to sleep in and more shoes than she knew what to do with. She's still wearing them now, 25 years on Laugh

Ours doesn't last long at all, I think the cat eats it when we are not looking.

We buy some very nice ones from Lidl which are soft and work out at 38p a roll but, of course, you have to buy a massive pack of about 300 - slight exaggeration here Big Grin
