Can anybody help me? I can`t get the full screen. I`ve got the advertisements down the right hand side of the screen and I don`t know how to get rid of them. Thanks. Smile

Hi temps and Scotty. As far as I know the adverts down the right side are part of the full screen. Just have to ignore them. They are part of this site.
A bit like advert breaks on the commercial TV channels.

Really? This is the first time I`ve had them, just got new pc today and my old one never showed them. Have you always had them there taking up 1/4 of the screen?

In the top right of your browser window (IE) there are three little boxes. If the middle one shows two little overlapping squares, then that means you are on a fully open window.
What's your OS, Windows XP or Vista?

Thanks for that Fluffy, it`s the first time I`ve seen them! Just upgraded from antiquated today so it seems I`m in the real world now. Strange to see the ads, but my new pc is marvelous so I`m really pleased. Fluffy Hug

It`s Windows XP Fluffy I`ve tried what you said but it`s stayed the same..no problem though it`s just getting used to it I suppose. Cheers for your help. Hug

Leaving aside temp's joke about you on a 58" screne. what size moniter were you using and are you using now. What resolution is it set to? The resolution and screen size will determine how much you see on your screen at one go.

Seeing as you have a nice new machine.. try a nice new browser Wink

Give FireFox a go Wink

Then get the Adblock Plus add on which will remove flash based adverts and block all manner of other ads and popups.

That will remove the ads and stop the flash popups leaving you with a blank area where the ads 'should' be. Makes for a faster load and stops you getting hassled Wink

Thanks Rafe..I`m so scared of the computer and adding things but I`m off to give that a try. I`ve tried everything but that so fingers crossed. I`ll let you know how I get on. Hug
