Yes I have, just the other day. I told them that they had just lost a big courtcas and, although they are going to appeal, I pleaded to their better nature and got it back. i was in a big que in the bank and over heard a lady complaining that they keep charging her(dont know what for)
the lady behind the counter was taking her complaint very personal someone in the que said she not blamin you love the lady got a strop on and said well fair trading have got no chance of getting a penny of us and marched off |

if you get a one off chrges then fair enough claim it back however if you are constantly defaulting on the terms and conditions you signed up to you don't really have grounds for complaint in my opinion!!! |

Not all of it no but you be surprised how much you can get back by being obstinate and persistent. I got £60 back from an £80 charge on one account last year.

If I default on my account I expect to pay charges...if I dont default I wont get charged, its the bliddy mobile phone companies you want to be looking at, they are a nightmare!

my OH got £1,500 back - you have to file a claim at the court to actually get them to take notice but it was worth it
