My Dad died 4 years ago - my Mum six. It hurts - it still hurts and it always will. But remember sweetie - it is very very early days and you are right - it hits like a sledgehammer and is a physical pain

When I was 8 I cracked my fingers and they were in a sling...whilst in my cousins house (this guy was her dad) I was running from the door to the car because he was bringing us to the cinema...clumsy me tripped and fell on my sore hand...he must have spent about 10 mins making sure I was okay and then let me sit in the front seat He'd be arrested for it now...but I felt like a princess.

Of course I was never let live it down I bet he's enjoying the biggest cigar where he is now
