My dad rang last night to tell me that his brother in law died of a heart attack yesterday. Now we wouldn't be bowled over with grief anyhow because we don't talk to the family anymore, but normally news of a death should be sad.

When I was 8 I cracked my fingers and they were in a sling...whilst in my cousins house (this guy was her dad) I was running from the door to the car because he was bringing us to the cinema...clumsy me tripped and fell on my sore hand...he must have spent about 10 mins making sure I was okay and then let me sit in the front seat He'd be arrested for it now...but I felt like a princess.

Of course I was never let live it down I bet he's enjoying the biggest cigar where he is now

Your memory of your uncle when your were little is so lovely and yes, I bet he is enjoying the biggest cigar ever now. The best thing you can do for him now is to cherish your wonderful memories of him with those bubbles of laughter. Whatever you do though - don't crack any fingers in the next few days, ok ?
