Okay, so I'm going on a girly holiday in 3 weeks with 3 other girls. Saturday night me and one of the girls had a massive fall out at a party (which happeneed to be my birthday party) and she said some really hurtful things towards me and I now feel like I dont want to go on holiday with her.

I tried to sit down and sort out out problems on Saturday but she wouldnt discuss it in a civilised way just wanted to shout about it One of the other girls is more her friend then mine so I know which side she would take and the other is equally close to us both and she said she isnt getting involved.

Im scared its going to happen again whilst on holiday and Im gonna wind up on me own, My gut instinct at the momment is to cancel the holiday but I dont know what I would be entitled to in terms of getting my money back as it is only 3 weeks away and we have got our tickets, does anyone know?

See, this is why being friends with mostly blokes is much easier. Just have a big punch up and it'd be over with

Surely if she's your friend and you both get together and talk through the fall out properly and apologise things will be back to normal? If not, she's not a very good friend!

She is more my best friends friend, so we know eachother to go on a night out etc and get on fine. Ive suggested to my best friend that we need to get together and sort it out but she thinks its better off left and whats done is done, but I'm the kind of person that stews over things like this and i cant stop thinking about it. She got dead aggresive towards me and said some really mean personal things and everytime I think about it I wanna cry, thats why I think I'd be better off getting out of the holiday as I dont think I will have a good time

I doubt you would get much, if any, of your money back at this late stage but you would need to check your documents to see - it you can afford to lose most or all of the money you paid then I would cancel cos more than likely there is gonna be tension if this other person doesnt want to sort things out - seems to me she is a bit of a hot head - however, you prefer to give it a whirl I suppose the worst that can happen is that you are gonna poss spend some time alone or maybe spend some time with the girl who is most matey with you (the one who doesnt want to take sides) good cul - let us know what you decide

its 3 weeks to ur hols and u have to think u r going to be with this girl for 3 weeks ,, and if u argue ,,you have no where to go. if u cancell at this stage u will not get any of ur money back ,, unless u can sell ur ticket . i had an argument with my best friend i didnt contact her for over a week we both needed to calm down and think straight , we than were able to talk without getting angry ,, but with the sounds of it this girl isnt nice and i dont think she wil give way to sort this out with you ,, but u never know ,,

if ur instint tells u not to go i wouldnt go ,, ur a long way from home .. hope it works out for u hun ..

One of the girls I work with has a friend in the travel agents I booked with so she is going to go in tomororw for me and ask what my options would be in terms of cancelling so fingers crossed I will be able to sort something out. That way with her asking what terms I would be able to cancel in I can make sire I go in and say the right things.

Ive not heard from my close friend or the other girl since it happened and she has deleted me as her friend on FB which I thought was slightly immature! But their lack of effort makes me want to cancel even more!

No nothing sorted yet but starting to feel abit better about it all... My friend has just text me so Ive told her Ive decided not to come and she is seeing if she can get anyone to buy me out of it which would be ideal because I would get 100% of my money back

But she also said she understands why I dont want to go and she wouldnt either if it had happened to her which makes me feel better cos I was feeling like she didnt really think what happened was a big deal!

Are you still wanting to go away on your jollydays this year?

Hope it gets sorted out for you...nothing worse than being away from home and feeling isolated

I hope I will still get a holiday, Ive bought all new clothes LOL shame to waste them, Im still going to have this week off in a few weeks and maybe re decorate my bedroom, which ive been putting off for months! hehe And then I have 2 weeks booked off work end of Aug so fingers crossed somethin will come up

Juts an update, sold my holiday lost £80 but think im better off that way then going and spending £500 spending money and havin loads of bad memories
