Thats because of the cold - it slows their brains. I saw that on a documentary. But the Welsh seem to be naturally dopey - it can't be the weather. It might be in the water or something.[/QUOTE]

I don't find the welsh dopey at all - why do you think that?

That's probably because we talk in a childlike way to you because you come across as a bit backward Nod

Sorry, but I think it's a really silly thing to say.

Don't forget about the arrogant English, with their toffee noses and stiff upper lips.

A few things, Irish 'terrorists' are referred to as freedom fighters in every country in the world except the one that tried to make Ireland part of its now failed empire. Imperialist tactics are far more terrorist in nature.

Someone mentioned sexy irish female accent, I'd agree unless she's mad at you for some inane reason, then not so sexy I can tell you!!

Ive only heard the odd welsh female speaking on tv or radio but they completely do it for me, I must visit..

Hi to everyone in Cork, Schull, Ballybunion and Camb.,Mass. Wave

Bump if you too like to party with the Irish!!

I heard the HM saying this too
Never heard anything so ridiculous. What a myth, but a myth one hears repeated often.

Irish people come in all shades of personalities, some good some bad, exactly the same as ANY other nationality. Some are likeable , some are most definitely not.

Irish terrosrists are Irish are'nt they? You all like them too? Confused

I'm Irish and proud of it, but I REALLY don't thinks a BB forum is a place to bring politics...it's just a bit of fun here.

With people like YOU in this world there will never be live and let live....so just grow up and get on with it. I would suggest you join a political forum if you want to air your opinions...someone there might want to listen to you...keep it light here please....

You must have misread my friend, or possibly it touched a nerve "With people like YOU in this world" taking offence?

There was nothing 'political' in any of my comments.

Roll Eyes

Happy for any HM to win now that 'Team Nasty' are no more!

I'm 100% Irish!

As regards the funerals, I never realised other countries did them differently till I saw one on Eastenders - about 2 people show up and then just go home, no piss up afterwards or anything, very strange. When I die I want everyone to get absolutely locked afterwards and have a great time. They won't be allowed wear black, too morbid. Except for my goth friend, she can wear black.

I went out with a stunning Irish girlf for about a year or so. It was long distance though, if it wasn't I would have married her for sure. She even sounded sexy when angry Big Grin But I understand what you mean.

Absolutely SHAMELESS grab for the Irish vote! It transpires that Rachel's aunt is Jamaican. Does that mean she'll get a share of the W. Indian vote as well as the Welsh?! An insult to the intelligence of the Irish viewers.
