I have a lot of time for the Irish - I used to work with quite a few from Southern Ireland and spoke with people in Dublin daily. I really miss the banter. There's nothing better than a gorgeous dark haired, blue eyed Irishman with a lovely southern accent ..... off into dream world!! (although I'm smitten with George Lamb - if he had an Irish accent, I'd be finished!!)

darbymoo, you completely ACCIDENTALY opened a pedantic can of worms with some peeps on here. I simply wouldnt address the more 'trollish' attempts at argument here.

All told its been completely lighthearted as it should be, some people just dont get it. Dont feed them.

Now, on with the craic, mines a Beamish Wink

My last name is KELLY, married to an Irishman, so I do love to party with the IRISH!

(However, I found Rex to be a wee bit patronizing when he said that, as if "the Irish" are just some species of party goers, bred for his entertainment. Don't like the guy).

A wasted effort. We still can't vote from here this week so far, the tech problem is still there. Also I would rather party in hell rather than most who are in heaven.

I absolutely ADORE the accent. Makes me go all weak at the knees LOL. There is an Irish Dad up at the school and I invent all sorts of reasons to get him talking heehee (doesn't matter that he's twice my age LOL). He knows what affect he has though and generally makes a point of saying something to me (don't care what it is he's saying!!) if he sees me.

I've never found an Irish fella I'd like to date though, I don't mean they would make bad boyfriends, just that I've not met one I've taken a shine to "that way".

I couldn't live in Ireland though - I'd be seventh heaven and you can have too much of a good thing.

Definately the most seductive accent in my book.
