i am growing

veg plot:
red onions
leeks
carrots
cos lettuce
radishes
dwarf french beans

greenhouse:
tomatoes
cucumbers
peppers
marrow - to be planted out
melon
lemon tree!!
sunflower!!!

i have never grown anything before so i thought i'd try lots to see what does what!

no i don't have room, but i like getting extras off people

I am dead excited actually

this year we are just growing lettuces tomatoes and peppers in grow bags on the decking.
BUT next year we are going to grow - potatoes, onions, carrots, broad beans, courgettes and cucumbers and whatever else
We are just sorting out the garden and getting cold frames and stuff.

I do have a herb garden with marjoram, rosemary, sage, a bay tree, mint, chives and dill.

My Mama has some strawberry plants and has been told they need umbrellas! can anyone explain this to me please...I am not a gardener but she thinks I know what I am talking about and I dont! help!!
