Fluffy it was the worst pregnancy in history...she was puking ALL the time...because she had food poisoning and was pregnant. Then she wouldn't sleep because she kept having nightmares...omg...it took me ages to get her energy and hunger in the green again, but now she's right back down again and the hubby's joined her.

It's a great game Bagel, it really is...I've had it for must be 2 or 3 years now and this is the FIRST time I've had a family in such dire straits Usually I use cheats, but this time I haven't used one.I ran out of money, the Repo man called, the nanny nicked some furniture coz I couldn't pay her and the food delivery guy took me good end table that it took me ages to save for. omg I can't cope with it  Exercising Squatters Rights in the A-Team thread Toots my Smutking and forum betrothed I like to drink Bovril at bedtime |

Oh wow! Sounds like you've got yourself into a right state with this lot. In the early days I lost a couple of children because I didn't realise what was happening. I've had a few close shaves since then, but nothing quite as bad as that. And the only cheats I've ever used are money trees and elixir of life, but you have to be at least gold for them to work. If you're less than gold then all that happens with the money trees is that you get $1 instead of $40, but if you drink the elixir of life when you're less than gold it actually ages you. |

There's something wrong with this house, I'm telling you Fluffy, it's possessed or something, not even in my early days was I getting it all so wrong. I have cheats to heighten the needs and to max their happiness if it's birthday time and turning the aging off. But this time I've used nothing...anytime a sims been sick before, it's been a doddle, just get them to rest and they're better in no time, but not this one...plus the aging thing went all haywire and..and...and...I'm getting all stressed just thinking about it I have to get the kids sorted before they grow up..I can't let the social worker take them away  Exercising Squatters Rights in the A-Team thread Toots my Smutking and forum betrothed I like to drink Bovril at bedtime |

A tip, if you are short of money, sell a window or a bit of carpet or door and the wallpaper that was on that section of wall and then the section of wall itself (so that you can still get in the room. LOL). You can always re-build them later once you have built up your funds again. I know it will lower the 'environment' score, but that won't be too detrimental if it helps you increase all the other scores. Don't stress yourself over the kids too much. If the Granny is there she'll help put them on the right road and even if they 'grow up badly' from toddlers to children, you'd be surprised at how little it can take to get them ready to 'grow up well' from children to teenagers. If I remember rightly they're only children for 8 game days, then they become teenagers. Children can mostly look after themselves, the only things they can't do are cook a proper meal and have a sponge bath. If one toddler is about to become a child then the other can't be far behind. On the day that your toddler is due to become a child, click on them and choose 'Grow Up' then that gets them out of the way a little sooner. Not too early though, or you'll have to send them off to school and then they'll have homework that very evening. omg Fluffy I figured it out...I can't believe it was this simple...I've just been playing it and again couldn't figure out why they're energy isn't going up.
You will laugh when you hear this...the light wasn't going off in the bedroom because there was no wall between it and the landing. That was it...that's the reason for all my hardship. I've just flicked the light off and the poor blighters have had the best night's sleep of their lives I've moved the granny in, but she can't teach them to walk or talk, she's potty trained them and I'm getting her to do all the cooking and cleaning, so the parents can get on with teaching them to walk and talk. I'm a bit nervous about posting in this thread after what happened last time
 but Fluffy, you're the only one who will understand me So the grandmother moved in and helped the daughter and the twins (the dodgy aging means their both the same age now ) get back on straight and narrow. And that family is doing great, so the grandmother moved back home...and that's when things started to go wrong for her She and the hubby had adopted this wee boy in their golden years, who grew up into a child. All within the space of an hour of the grandmother being back, the kid got taken away by the social worker for not doing his homework and the hubby died. I have to add, I'm so sad about the hubby dying coz he was part of my original family, I'd raised him from a wee baby until his ripe old age of 78 and because I wasn't keeping an eye on him, his mood level was green, so the grim reaper beat him with a stick  Anyhooo her bestmate moved in with her teenage daughter, I thought it would be nice company for the original grandmother and her one remaining daughter at home, but they're all getting on terribly...none of them can walk passed each other without kicking lumps out of each other There's something wrong with my game...I think it's broken why is everything going so wrong Exercising Squatters Rights in the A-Team thread Toots my Smutking and forum betrothed I like to drink Bovril at bedtime |

Temps, if things go badly wrong like that then just abort the session without saving it, then you can reload and try again. I read somewhere that certain star signs are natural enemies. I thought I was the only one here who like the Sims! One of my sims was a bit of a Cassanova and fathered 23 children before he died.

The Most Children One Sim Couple Has Had In My Game Is 39 8 sets of twins and the rest just normal, The REason They Had So Many Babies Was That They( I) Wanted A Baby boy and the first 30 were girls the rest were boys
