haa haa!!! brilliant

I used to hate before I got the teenage one...I'd invite people over and they'd be starving, but you couldn't 'call them for dinner' like you can the headmaster so they'd always wander off starving...I only realised that if you serve dinner for everyone they'll come to the table as soon as they get the whiff.

Now I've the teenage one though, you can call everyone.
Yes, I've got the 'call to meal' option with the pets pack - very handy. But if they're not hungry enough they won't come.

Why do they nearly always seem to gather in the bathroom when you've just moved a new family in and the neighbours come to welcome them to the neighbourhood? Big Grin

Never thought that the original parents might mot be able to adopt them, I was just told I didn't have enough money!

I hate when the neighbours call...you're tryna get yourself together and settle them in.
And next of all the neighbourhood calls round.

Then you'd get...I can't remember their names I think it was Nina Caliente and her brother or something and they'd start slapping each other as you're tryna settle your new family in pmsl!!!

No baggage please!!!

So I now have a bank robber married to a detective ???

Yeah one of mine married Mitch the delivery man Big Grin I wish you could try and win kids back that are taken away by the social worker. A couple of times I've fallen asleep and left it running, woke up and all the kids have been shipped off Big Grin
Your other option here is to ditch the session and go back to the last reload. Annoying if you last saved a while ago, but sometimes worth it, especially if loosing the kids mucks up a scenario that you've been working on.

It's a while since I last looked at these ones, so I can't be 100% sure, but I thought I had checked the relationships from both ends. Smile

Seriously though. It is a good idea to save the game everytime one of your sims gets promoted, no matter when you last saved. then if anything does go wrong at some point you wont have lost the promotion(s).

Checked them both out again last night and I'm stumped. One couple is 100/100, in love/got a crush from both ends. The other is the same except its 98/98 from both ends. Confused

Just had a thought, it might be something to do with personalities and/or chemistry. Something to check out tonight.

Is it something to do with the kind if love ie romantic v lustful love? When the sims have pink hearts in the relationship indicator I think that's romantic and a red one is lustful. It has to be lust for them to get it on - more hot kissing needed maybe!

My understanding of it is that a pink heart means a crush and a red heart means love. All three sims involved are 'romantic' sims and show a pink heart in their daily relationship and a red heart in their overall relationship.

The fathers are Uncle and Nephew. So the kids are half-brothers/sisters AND 1st cousins once removed, at the same time.
The Uncle and Nephew live in the same house and found out they were having it off with the same females (yes, more than one!)so have a negative relationship with each other, but their wants panel says they want to be friends. The nephew keeps on wanting to hit the uncle though and you see him standing nearby, slamming his fist into his other hand. They are at work at different times though, so they are very infrequently at home at the same time. Hehe. Laugh Big Grin

they have to move to love though I think...it's not enough that it's a crush...although checking the chemistry is a good idea...I didn't even have that option till I bought the teen pack a few weeks ago and sometimes that happened with me too.

Are their life friendship lines high as well??? And I presume they're best mates if they've got to the love stage?

I have one that has two kids by two different men...but the second kid she never told the hubby that it wasn't his Ninja I wonder what'll happen when the real father dies and the daughter inherits a whack load of cash Ninja

Big Grinlol that's what I was trying to say - the pink heart has to change to a red one. A crush is romantic and doesn't allow the more lustful activities
