You don't HAVE to get them all and you don't HAVE to get them in any particular order.
One thing you DO have to do before purchasing any is to check out the System requirements and make sure your system is sufficient to run them.

2nd brother's wife now has another baby by 2nd brother then gets pregnant by 3rd brother again and now 2nd brother breaks-up and throws her out, then leaves with his eldest child. So 3rd brother invites her back into the house and marries her and has another baby, but is also having a fling with 3rd sister.
1st brother now gets 1st sister/2nd wife, 2nd sister and 3rd sister pregnant all at the same time!
Meanwhile 2nd brother invites 1st brother's 2nd wife to move in with him, which she does along with the two children that she already has (by 1st and 2nd brothers), but she is also expecting another child by 1st brother.
When 1st brother breaks up with his 2nd wife/1st sister she and 2nd brother get married.
1st brother and 2nd sister marry,and 3rd brother, who has now broken up with lone female, marries 3rd sister. who by the way has two children now, first one by 1st brother while he was still married to 1st sister/2nd wife and second one by 3rd brother while he was still married to lone female/ex-wife of both brothers.
Meanwhile, lone female kept in touch with 1st brother (after the red wore off) and now invites him to come back and live with her and the 5 children she has left.

Another funny thing happened on mine last night. This family just had a baby. The mother cuddled it, bathed it then fed it. I bought a cot for it, then the mother put the baby down on the floor and went to work. I thought nothing of this as the father was there and he would pick baby up and put her in the cot. However he was very hungry so tried to get food from the fridge but couldn't as baby was lying in front of it. So I told him to put baby in cot, then get food, but he did nothing and then complained he was starving! I don't know what happened, but somehow the baby got frozen in a position just before it was lying on the floor properly. So that action wasn't properly finished and thus no other action involving the baby could happen, so I ended up moving the fridge in order that they could get food, and had to ignore the baby and wait for the Social Worker to come and take it away. Even she couldn't pick up the baby, just stood there! Eventually there was a blue flash and the baby disappeared and the Social worker left. So all that effort getting a baby has gone for nothing!
And to make matters worse they both made bad decisions at work. He got demoted two 'career levels' and she got fired!
