Im a step parent to 2 teenage lads. One is lovely but the other is a complete pain. He left school 2.5 years ago and had a job for just 3 months. It causes so many rows between me and my partner and Im at my witts end with the situation. Any advice?

My step duagters are fine. The older, teenage one caused a few issues but the younger 6 year old is great.

Its the hellish Ex's you have to constantly deal with that cause the nightmares and arguments.

Why cant they just see that not only do you often make it easier for your partner to have his kids more often but that you also treat them extremely well and look after them with utter love and care???

im not a step parent but i do feel my step dad trys to control me alot, im nearly 22 yrs old with a baby on the way n he is still tryin to treat me as a little kid, he thinks that coz i live under his n mums roof he shud have all the respect but instead of comprimisin like a grown up shud he always has to be right, fair enough he shud get respect but he aint gonna get it if he keeps actin the way he does.
