hi my 1yr old doesn;t understand the word No, im trying to teach him the right way when he touches things that he shudn't can anyone sugguest anything.
I think a lot of todlers don't understand the word No, so your child is perfectly normal. When my daughter was at that stage I used to say NO firmly, pick them up and place them as far away from the object as possible, repeat as necessary. Exhausting yes, but it eventually they will get the message.
Don't forget that the tone of your voice says more to him at the moment than the word itself, so remember to lower your tone and frowning a little may also help.
