A girl I used to know at school got in touch with me yesterday for the first time in about 7 years. She said she had something to tell me, but wanted me and everyone to know by email, rather than phone, in which I haven't received yet.
The thing is, I know what it is she wants to tell me. She's recently been diagnosed with psychosis. It doesn't shock me at all and I'm not really bothered about her having this, as it's just like having an illness anywhere in the body. Just because it's to do with the mind, doesn't make any difference to me. I was just wondering if you had any tips as to know what to say to her, once she has emailed me with her diagnosis. I want to reply to her with respect.
learn about it . dont talk about it loads or anything . she will know about it . and probably not want to talk about it loads . hence email not in person
