Hiya, I also have a boy (2) and a girl (6mnts) and I don't want a third, all I tell myself is on a day out as a family, there is one set of hands for each child.
I came from a big family or two btothers and a sister, me and my sister we the third and forth children of the family, and both unexpected little blessings so we are told. However, as there is a max of 22 months at the most between all four of us, my Mum said it was like hell on earthj for about nine years while she was bringing us up, she coped well as it was a case of having to, but they never went anywhere alone, or went out as a couple until my sister was about 10 and old enough to be left in the care of my eldest brother.
I think it is probably ver hard to make the decision.
How old are both of yours? I am doing all the nappies and teething together and I am finding it moderatly easy, there age always good and bad days though. But when I am done with these two at the baby stage, I am done. But Me and my partner decided that before we were even pregnant with my first. Two was always the limit, as we decided that with two children we could provide them with everything they needed. I know a third child would mean there would have to be a lot of compromise within the family unit.
My brother and sister in law are currently expecting there second and day now, but I am not at all broody, and being sensible, even if I were to get like it in the future I will remind myself of all the horrible things like teething slepless nights, followed by insomnia because of stress, teething, ilness etc.
But I will look back at all their pics and videos with fodness, and hope they don't grow up TOO fast.
