Did anyone watch Baby Fight Club on C4 last night, what do you all think. I totally disagree with kids fighting without protective gear, especially protective headgear. I do not know what the parents are thinking of, what would they do if their child suffered brain damage, or even death, totally irresponsible.

It seems as though the kids, especially the twins were fighting for their parents pleasure. The little girl clearly was too young and did not want to do it, and she was giving answers that would please her dad, not what she really wanted.

I used to do Muay Thai and would never spar without full protective gear on, our instructer never let us fight without it on.

Those who know me know that I am not a fan of Kick boxing, Thai Boxing or MMA. Last night on Ch4 shows why.

How can any responsible parent allow their kids to get involved with this? This is not about kids learning "martial arts" responsibly this is an ego trip for underachieving parents who quite simply dont have the balls to allow kids to be just that. One 'parent' was heard to say that his little girl was not interested any more and wanted to do little girly things - well for gods sake let her shes only a kid for a short time.

Kicks and punches to the head at these ages can and will do more harm than good. What was shown was a total lack of morals by some parents and by putting kids in this situation can only produce thugs of the future. Who will be responsible for seriuos injury or death - the kids - the parents - the organisers or as appeared to come across no one cares.

There are many responsible Kick, Thai instructors who must be totally ashamed by what was screened last night, but it appears that there are many more irresponsible individuals out there who just don't care about safety, morals, physcological effects on these kids, etc.

Its time that these so called "martial arts" were held to account and legislation brought in to control these activities.

All to often we see people get a Black Belt in Karate, Judo, TaeKwon-Do etc and they think they know it all. They set up some "martial arts" club in some pokey little hall or down the bottom of the garden and the result - well we saw it last night, but all too often we see it in other ways.

I could not have said it better myself. These sorry excuses for parents were trying to live their lives through their child. What parent would put their child intentionally through danger when the risks are serious injury or death. We saw one parent last night when signing the consent form, take a totally blase attitude towards the risks, as if she were signing for a parking ticket.

The father who had this silly little excuse for a gym in the garden well don't go there, totally irresponsible. I can see these kids in 10-20 years time in HMP for things like mugging, and thuggery. As I mentioned, I used to practice Muay Thai in a totally safe environment, kids were not allowed to compete in tournaments or to take part in the session.

The parents show a lack of responsibility and compassion

Sorry but the Licencing Board and insurance which comes from these people are the ones who monitor Kick Boxing and on the Children who took part did any of them have Work Permits or performance licence and they are required by law we think not as any Child under 13 years old would find in near inpossible for the person they Worked for would have to applie for it and the Laws Clear on this point heres it copied from the Child Employment Guildelines.
Employment is classed as any Assistance in any Trade or Occupation which is carried out for profit, whether or not payment is received for any assistance.
Like those children who were not paid still come under the childrens laws on that program made money for said clubs and systems. we have sent a video to channel 4 that makes there program look safe from tae kwon do which shows cheating and what can happen when judges and refs do not do there job as there only interest is money.
As we have stated all along if you got these papers then the jokers would be closed down and the negect thats on that program would not happen.

We have also Video,s of a Kick Boxing Event which shows by its self there only interest is making profit not the children there are 22 competitors in the event on a video but all are insured not like those on baby fight club that if what we have been told is correct the parent of said children had signed a disclaimer why.
