Hi, I am a nanny to a boy who is 6 and a girl aged 4. Since i have worked in this job (which has only been 6 months) I have noticed the little boy becoming very aggressive. We have now recieved a letter from the school asking for permission for him to be put onto an anti social behaviour program to try and help with his behaviour at school. Has any body got any tips on disciplining him the right way at home bacause i am lost for things to try! The naughty step doesnt work because he thinks its funny. He is worst when his Mother returns from work. Could it be an attention thing?
Ooh if I had the answer to this one I would be very rich! The key thing is, is that whatever your decide to do, consistency is the key. So things like the naughty step will only work if you are consistently doing it the same way each time. Usually it is an attention thing....does he get to spend one on one time with anyone, ie his mother?
