Have any of you got children who are addicted to msn? Or how about you? Are you addicted???
Well a few years back I was a chat room addict- My Mum thought it was just msn and friends from school but no. My contact list was growing and I just couldnt help chatting to people. Now 7 years on I regret ever using chat rooms. But in other ways I am gald.
Post your issues about teens, children and even adults using chat rooms- Which they do. Millions of teens and kids were in that chat room.
It very nearly broke up my family through my wife been so addicted to chat rooms. Somedays I have known her to be on a chat room until 3 in the morning still telling me that she had work still to do, and the bad part is I belived her, I had no reason not too at that time.
3 years on I have baned the internet from the house, I feel sorry for my kids, as they need it for school work, but if I allowed the internet back in the home, my wife would be too tempted not to back to her old ways I know that, so the internet stays banned.
Chat rooms are OK for some people, but as soon as you know you are becoming hooked, then it is time to find something better to do with your time.
If you are a mother or father think of your children and most importantly your spouse and what you are doing to them, they are crying inside due to you been so glued to chat rooms.
