i have a problem with my two & half years old baby while he is watching the tv he stands directly infront of it and if i call him almost 100 times he never answers, i have tried almost evrything with him and didn't work.
its really common in todlers its called selective hearing lol
seriously tho if you are concerned about his hearing take him to your health visitor or GP they will do a simple pain free audio test and refer him if necessary xxx

Perhaps you could turn the TV off if you want his attention??
My 11 year old still does that if shes engrossed in a tv programme
I agree, perfectly normal Claude_F and if I remember rightly they have regular hearing tests when little, so if there is a problem it would be picked up but if your worried, do as HCC suggested
