hi everyone, i hope you don't mind me asking this here but i really need an opinion.
i have been reading many different C4 forums for a while and finally plucked up the courage to introduce myself.
everyone on these forums seems like such a friendly bunch so i thought i'd ask for your opinion.
my husband and i recently found out that i am pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl and we can hardly wait! we already have an older son and daughter but we are somehow having trouble finding names for the upcoming little ones. we have whittled it down to a few but simply can't agree or can't decide. so i'd love to hear your opinions on the names we've chosen as well as ANY OTHER possible suggestions of names that you like for boys and girls.
i'm open to any suggestions but choosing a name is just so important and i'd just like to know how their names might be perceived... so far we have the following names for the boy: Dylan Elliot Jude Patrick Sean (with Lennon as a possible middle name)
and for a girl: Caitlyn Jamie Holly Rebecca Joyce (with Kathleen as a possible middle name, providing Caitlyn isn't the first name)
Hello and congratulations, all the names you have picked are really nice, we all like different names dont we, I think if I were to have twins, boy and a girl I would call them, Morgan and Mia or McKenzie and Mia or Milan and Mia, yes I like Mia for a girl, or Meliz for a girl.
Good Luck and keep us all informed of the pending births
Congratulations on the impending arrival, and welcome to the forums. We have one child, a little girl called Kaitlyn(spelt the American way). I am half Armenian and when at school hated my Armenian name (Zabelle), i used to get teased a lot, so was very wary about giving our little girl a foreign name), however now, we live in a multicultural society with children who have all sorts of different names.
The names that you have chosen are lovely. Funnily enough I do love unusual names such as: Hermione(like the girl in Harry Potter), Octavia, Augusta for girls, and for boys: Joaquine (as in River Phoenix brother), Xavier, Octavian for boys. Unfortunately my husband does not share the same views lol.
Good luck with choosing a name, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth
Congratulations, I love Mia as you will see from my previous post, that was the name I was going to call Morgan, my son, they are all gorgeous names though and I like Lily as well for the middle name, good luck!
My youngest is called Freya (Elizabeth) as she was born on a Friday (where the day of the week originates from) and because it is the Norse Goddess of Love. It is also where the German word for woman comes from.
My eldest daughter is Emma (Rebecca)At the time I liked Biblical names.
Before my youngest was born she was going to be Gabrielle if she was a boy.
happy choosing and congratulations!!!!
PS please dont name them Dolce and Gabanna (as someone I knew did!!)
Congratulations! I also like Dylan and Caitlyn. Me and partener had a hard time naming our son. I like traditional yet modern names and he just likes plan boring ones lol. We went for Vinnie Steven in the end and it suit hims perfectly. Although we were very close to swapping it round on naming day lol! My sister was all set on one day the whole way through her pregnancy and yet changed it as soon as she saw her daughter. Good luck on the naming and let us know what you both decide. There'll probably be bets being taken soon lol!
Congrats on your pregnancy. If i was to have a boy and a girl i would choose a name that is different and uncommon a name that you dont hear so often and a name that once someone says it they know who their parents are straight away. My girl would be called Sydney as in Sydney Down Under and my little boy would be called Xavier. Now thats something you dont hear everyday.
I'm still debating about having a third baby and last night dreamt I had a quick caesarian in Adsa, by Harry off Casualty. I "had" a girl and I called her Willow ?? I have never even considered the name before but I think I will call a little girl it if I have one now. God knows where my subconsciousness dragged that one up from!
My son was almost Elliott, but we soon realised there are a lot of Elliott's around, so we named him Ellis, why we both love!
My Daughter's middle name is Caitlin, his first name Romy (Italian for Rose)
You have a nice list, Caitlin and Elliott are my faves!

Reese is lovely for a girl, like Reese Witherspoon, I also love Cameron for a girl, I love names that you can call both sexes.
