Hello everyone.

My name is Graham, and I'm currently doing a course which requires me to start an investigation on violence in the media and it's effects on teenagers. Are you in a family with a troublesome teen and want to discuss it? Were you, or still are, a aggressive teenager yourself? Do you think the media causes violence in today's youths? If anyone would like to post their opinions and views then everyone is more than welcome. Smile thanks!

I'm currently conducting an experiment for my media class. If you would be so kind as to reply to any forum I set up then it would be greatly apprciated.

I don't know about teenagres, but I do know that with younger kids they are very influenced by the tv. I am a child minder and have rules about no fighting, no guns and other weapons, and certain so called tv that involves fighting is banned. Its never a problem, even with kids that watch whatever they want when they are at home.
One mum told me that when she gets home from work she can tell what her kids have watched on TV by the atmosphere and mood at home.Things like power rangers etc make the kids behave aggresively and they stay in that sort of mood for a while.
I would assume that kids that have always been allowed to watch whatever they want will get used to it and the aggresiveness will become normal to them as they grow up.
