My daughter is 3 and extremely stubborn and strong willed. She loves to dance and is a true performer, especially if she has an audience. So I enrolled her in a small dance class for 3 year olds. Throughout the whole half an hour she totally refuses to join in, cries and makes huffing and puffing sounds when asked to do the simplest of things. Do I continue and persevere or give up and just accept this class is not for her? I have tried joining in with her, I've tried sitting it out, but she just completely refuses to join in. However, on one occasion she did participate and was rewarded and praised. Any advice?
Yes, keep taking her, my son was the same when i took him to swimming and karate, he's just turned 6, keep on going, just shyness thats all, she will be fine in the end. Good Luck
