Simon6, I sympathise, the computer bit is horrible.
I did notice that there was a member of the production team on-line a 4pm. How strict they are with the deadline, we'll only know when you find out your on the short list or sadly not!
PS. Production Team. can you sneak him in?
I though I saw a light at the end of the tunnel .. but it was only Jay with a torch, looking for the way out!
Actually I wouldn't ask them to make a special rule just for me.
If there were a few others who did get their submissions in on the very last day, but after the 4pm deadline, my heart goes out to them as well.
It really depends on the team. The competition has been running for weeks. If all the last submissions were faithfully collected at 4pm yesterday, that's probably the end of it.
On the other hand, if they've allowed a buffer period for last minute delays, then it will problably be read.
Hello everyone on the forum. I have been reading all your posts for weeks, having a great laugh but feeling slightly voyeuristic by not joining in. Anyway, now, of course I'm seriously worried. I don't know if my entry (tit was my 2nd submission) was in by 4pm exactly (it was thereabout...) Is there any way of finding out whether my entry was acceped or not? I sent my first idea in about a week ago, but never received confimation of that either.
I reckon, if you sent by e- and didn't Request Read Receipt, you just have to assume the internet is not, actually, an unreliable place! And I'm absolutely sure they allowed for a 'buffer zone' after the 4pm.
Did i read you correctly, 'TIT was my 2nd submission' I don't know if you will win but i am on the front row if you do!
As to letting Simon6 in, can i read it first?
I would immagine they will look at any late submissions, (within reason) they are after all panning for that nugget of Gold amongst the gravel. Any good prospector knows it's hard to stop panning, that big nugget could just be in the next pan!

I can't believe I said Tit was my 2nd submission. Well - I was a forum virgin, what do they say about first times and all that? But now I think about it, what a great name for a play! I can just see it on Shaftesbury Avenue lit up in neon...what a pity I'm passed the deadline.
