Actually, ashamed tho' I am to admit it - so do I!
And I arranged a charity Monopoly game a couple of winters ago. Myself and five other maniacs played Monopoly in the front garden of my local from 12 noon to 8pm in the rain; we raised £250 for Cancer Research!
How many more closet board game players are out there?
I've advertised for Scrabble and Monopoly players, here in London; the only response was from some website in USA asking for money to register my interest.
I used to play Literati on the Yahoo Games site a lot. It's almost identical to Scrabble except the letters are randomly generated, so you could have absolutely no Ts in a game, but 8 Qs. I always got loads of Is for some reason.
-Every rose has its thorns. Mine are all sticking in my side.
I learnt to play in the Caribbean, spent hours on the beach playing with the locals using holes scooped from sand and with stones. I've got a set and never found anyone who's ever played it!
Monopoly goes on for far too long after it is clear that one person is going to win.
"Risk" That was a good game - had a compeuter version that cost me hours in lost work time.
Otherwise - love playing backgammon and chess and the ultimate card games of Canasta and Bezique. Latter I havn't played for years because I can't find anyone else who plays it. Any offers?

I don't do board games, can't stand the things.
Although I'm quite partial to the odd hand of poker (Texas Hold'em style). I'm in a tournament next week to raise money for the small independant production company I belong to. Wish me luck!
why is it that people insist that technology is imparial when clearly it's just as bitter as the person who programmed it. evreytime i play that hearts game the computer will only let you win for so long before it becomes a sore loser and fixes the game so you're always last. i've had to stop playing it, i get really wound up and switch the computer off at the wall to spite it.
perhaps this says more about me, hope there are no psychologists in this forum. i've only just perfected the art of typing with my arms strapped behind my back.
I've never played poker but late night TV programmes taught me how. I think a forum match would be fun.
No.
Gravedigger is a card sharp, look at that green eye shade.
Adman (who has a tuxedo - which I think is an American type of dinner jacket) is clearly at home in casino's.
JaysPlays definitely has a poker face, dark grey and kind of pointed.
LilMissLesley, I should keep to Scrabble. Never play card games for money and certainly not with this collection of hornswogglers (you'll probably lose more than your shirt!)
