But in answer to your original question... I'd say the odds don't look good - there were 5,000 entries to the BBC's last general call to writers... But there was a short-list - and they were real people (as far as we know)...

So who knows... You can but try... Who's gonna know apart from the people on here of a 'fail' anyway... And to be honest - failure is that big a deal to me anyway... I very much take a 'win some, lose some' approach to life…

Do you know... I sometimes read back my posts on Forums and surprise myself by how illiterate I sound. I can only apologise for the above (as can’t be bothered to change it)… It sounded like an excerpt one of those ‘realer than life’ stories from ‘Brenda’ magazine… Red Face

Started out as a playwright (not West End). Written a novel, published, working on second. Done a bit of tv and currently touting my screenplay around with a producer in tow.
