I'm having toooooooo much fun trying to develop a new synopsis Anyone know of any links where I can either find a tutorial or a couple of examples of synopsii of plays that have subsequently gained a pro production?

Jay, Just asuggestion - why not ask Swan to read Denim and then write a synopsis - she will come at it from a different angle to you ( ask Adman to do the same?) Seeing the synopsis through someone elses eyes might be enlightening.

Adders has already done so...
Swanny,
Fancy a go? Rather than having to pile through the whole thing, you can take a brief glance at what's on the website to determine if you like the writing to see if it is worth the effort...

Swanny,
I would be delighted! Nothing more I love than reading someone elses work - especially when they write a different genre from myself.
I always get amazed that I gain more inspiration for comic works by reading dramas than other comdies.
I'll fire a copy over this morning!
Again, Many Thanks

Sorry Swanny,
May have to wait until tonight to email you, as my work PC doesn't have Java enabled, hence I can't spot the email address.
But you could always PM me on the FoS with it...

Just thought that I had to pass this on.
This has turned into a fascinating process. Reading someone else’s script to develop a synopsis makes you read it in a different way.
I’ve always looked at a script to get lost in the dialogue, characterisation and plot development. But this… I’ve ended up reviewing scenes repeatedly to determine what the essence of that scene was.
Once again, I can say – every day is just another day at school.
