(excuse the cliche) BUT at the end of the day the "PLAY" as such is a dying breed - now if it had been a MUSICAL with decent lyrics/music ... script etc the run would have been longer.

However if we educate kids to actually go to plays the genre might rise out of the ashes which are rapidly forming. When will people understand you have to educate from an early age!! Right I'll shut up now.

Quick amendment. "Just an idealist" makes me also sound like an apologist! I am not apologising for it!! Kate has talent. I would hate to think that it was subsumed under the politics of those who have controlled this production. Her play really is as good as I say. Have you seen it?! (Joke!)
