We really should save, for posterity, some of the funnier moments that we've shared on our forum.
I'd like to start with a really old one from Adman... but can't find it! Someone was saying that they weren't sure about being able to commit to TPTT, because of starting uni. The retort was a mock telephone call from Sonia. Can anyone remember the quote, if so, post it below to start the ball rolling.
Question: 'What sort of time commitment will be expected from the writer? I'm hoping that they are flexible. I'm at Uni at the moment, although thats in London anyway...I'm sure they will be flexible, otherwise they'd be limeting themselves considerably to who can participate...'
Answer: 'I can imagine the telephone call. "Hello, is that Sonia Friedman? Yes, hi Sonia, thanks for accepting me ... I know the programme is going to take several months to film, and I'll gain national exposure for my abilities as a writer and end up performed in the West End, but can I just ask ... can I fit it all around my shelf-stacking job at Tesco's?!"
