Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but if your play has a reasonably large cast (6 upwards)it's sometimes worth approaching drama courses. I've had some interest in my TPTT submission and I do think they're on the look-out for new stuff, particularly if it's an ensemble piece where the roles are all about the same size.
Might even be worth proposing plays with smaller casts for internal drama classes to work on too. They always need dualogues etc.
Nice to be back Swann. I like reading what everyone's up to (yes, I am one of those dark, murky 'observers') but got a bit disheartened for a while there with the deadline an'all, so didn't have anything cheerful to say for myself! Cracking on again with writing a one-woman play now, so feeling inspired again.
That sounds like a brilliant idea Sadie... I've also been thinking about Am-dram societies since I started posting on here... It's been a serious broadening of horizons for me!
