I'd really like to enter, but I need a bit more info about what C4 consider to be a professional production. I've had one of my plays put on by Theatre West in a tiny pub theatre in Bristol- paid very little for it! Would it still be OK to enter, as I love the idea of the show...
I'm not quite sure if it counts as amateur or professional- I'd say it was hardly a west-end show, but I don't want to enter if I'm going to be thrown out halfway through! I've already emailed C4 about this once last week, but I haven't had a response. The actors were paid (a small amount) as was I, but it was all below union levels and was the result of winning a comepetition- any ideas?
No reply as of yet. I've decided to stop holding my breath. It hurt and I turned a particularly unattractive shade of purple. I reckon only Prince can get away with purple
The big worry is T&C 15 which seems to let them decide that you were bad and take your goodies without payment! I believe that Tony Blair has declared this legal!
