You're sweet to be concerned, Playfull, no offense taken, but maybe I should go back and read it again??? I'm kidding.
Saw Titus Andronicus on Friday night. Weird, bloody, interesting. The actress who played Lavinia was amazing and Chiron and Demetrius were heavy metal goth thugs of the highest order.
Hmm... this is what I'm intending to see... I've read the play and seen a version on BBCTV- but this must be nearly twenty years ago... but have never seen it staged.
Me, I WAS Titus Andronicus on Friday night (don't know whether that gag works when read in an American accent).
Swanny - I've just spent an hour helping my 14 year old daughter on a 500 word history essay 'Why America entered the Vietnam conflict, the outcome and your opinion of American action'.
Bearing in mind my knowledge of the events extend only to Alan Alda's still, it was an eye-opener!
