It's a nice idea - poorly executed.

There have been too many cases of young people beeing groomed on the internet. Any action that can be taken to avoid that has to be praised... However, to my knowledge, no under 16's have posted on this forum... Plus, all that the new T&Cs do is make the lawyers feel happy... There is no genuine age check, not even an attempt to ask you to state your DOB.

This is no more than a case of PC PR as delivered my those afraid of litigation.
