Many thanks to all those who have entered the competition. At the moment our team of professional playscript readers are assessing the considerable number of entries and compiling a shortlist. If you have not been contacted by 30th September this will indicate that you have unfortunately not made it on to the shortlist and into the subsequent phases of The Play's the Thing. We have not yet contacted any entrants who might have reached the next round. Due to the high volume of entries, we are unable to give individual feedback to those writers not shortlisted.
