I'm just wondering as one of the posters who attempted to send and then got contrary messages about submissions being accepted if anyone would care to set our minds at rest...
I also entered the competition, but I got an email confirming my entry the next day. Perhaps you better call or email somebody as I’ve rarely seen the production team answering on here. Judging (apparently) finishes next Monday – so I’d be quick about it too.
Been away for work but finally day - 3 days of no email and hands were beginning to shake!!Just emailed an enquiry and got the following response so all looks well!!
The competition, The Radio Plays The Thing is now closed since 4pm on Monday 26th March. Thank you for your submission to 'The Radio Play's The Thing'. We will respond in due course. Those who are shortlisted will be notified on Monday 16th April. If you're shortlisted, you'll need to be able to attend a day-long workshop at Channel 4 Television in London on Friday 20th April.
Some applicants have also received an error message - this is due to a technical issue resulting from the high volume of applications. Please be assured, this is generated by our stand-by system and we have received your application safely.
