Hi there Moonbird, Don't go all wimpish lad, you say what you think and don't give a damn who you offend in the saying of it. That is not being nasty, it is what is known as plain speach, or, more colloquialy, calling a spade an effing shovel, a noble occupation which is slowly dying under the weight of political correctness. So carry on Moonbird and whatever you do, do not allow yourself to be browbeaten by the remnants of the clique which infested this site and who thought their performing the osculum infamia on Channel 4 would increase their chances of getting selected. Me nasty? dear god I haven't even started. Keep up the good work Moonbird. Caocos

This from a man(?) that can't even spell his own name... I thought the point of this forum was to to promote writing for theatre, not egos on forums??? Disagree - fine. Critique - better. Argue for self importance... Why do you think this forum died?

I can write, but I never made any claims to be able to spell, as for ego, well that is the jock strap which adorns every tallent, whether actually posessed or imagined. Some time ago I posted a piece on what constituted Westendy and cutting edge theatre "Cutting edge means that the actor stands under the proscenium arch effing and blinding for 90 minuits after which he gives birth to a vegitable marrow); this week on Graham Norton one of the guests told of a performannce he attended at the Edinburgh fringe wher three actors stood front of stage stark naked, then one of them turned arround and had a dump, is that what C4 has in mind for it's winning production?

Possibly... but only if it references Strindberg, Berkoff and can last for 3 acts.
Get ready with the bran flakes, boys!
