"Inter Milan are interrested in Rennes midfielder Kim Kallstrom. The Swede is in his first season in France, but has already caught the eye of Inter technical chiefs Lele Oriali and Marco Branca.
Inter see Kallstrom as a readymade replacement for Christian Zanetti, who will leave his contract expires in June."

Another star of the Rennes team on his way out, surely not!? Unfortuantly that's the way it goes for mediocre teams harbouring great young talent!
Allez Sedan!!

Oh dear, how torn am I? Stay at Stade de la route de Lorient, or come to the Giuseppe Meazza, San Siro...? Nope, stay at Rennes, we (Inter) have already got enough midfielders. Though if indeed Veron does leave in the summer, we're not left with as much creativity
|
| |
|

|
Without running the risk of straying too far away from the topic at hand, is Veron actually playing well this season? Does he still have 'it'?
Allez Sedan!!

I'm not sure he's playing that well, not bad, but I don't know if he does enough to command a first team spot all the time, but he's Mancini's mate isn't he? Mancini's a bit of a gimp like that

I was thinking about having a name on my back, but I couldn't decide
Qu'est-ce que tu veux dire, "sans manches"?
Just to let you know, I've broken 3 of my toes tonight, like the silly beggar I am.

I cannot believe our form! We're about to win a club record 6 games in a row!!! Grace a Utaka encore une fois, et John Mensah (our Ghanaian ) Despite losing almost half of our games, and having a minus goal difference, we're 5eme!!! ALLEZ RENNES!

I wanted to say that I've got one of the sleeveless Cameroon shirts! Great for acheiving a brilliant "vest tan" in the summer months! As for the broken toes....OUCH!!! I've broken a big toe before, got ran over by a 4t fotklift at work a couple of years back. It's not a pleasant injury, you have my sympathies!
Allez Sedan!!

If you've got a few quid, how about getting Internazionale put on the back? You may need to upgrade to a XXXL though......?
Allez Sedan!!

On the toe front, I'm quite surprised how people think I should be in agony, because they're really not that painful. They're all crooked, bluey/brown, and one of them doesn't bend, but the pain's going away very quickly. I didn't break my big toe though, so maybe that's a different kettle of poisson.
Internazionale...hmm that'd look good with a number 9...but a bit expensive too!

"Wenger eyes Rennes starlet By Graeme Bailey & Laurent Picard - Created on 4 Apr 2006
Arsenal are being tipped to make a fresh move on the French market with Rennes forward Yoann Gourcuff the latest bright young thing to come under Arsene Wenger's gaze.
The Gunners have former star Gilles Grimandi scouring Le Championnat and its lower leagues for burgeoning talent and he has now spotted Gourcuff.
Grimandi, who played a major role in Arsenal's swoop for Abou Diaby from Auxerre in January, is understood to be taking a keen interest in French Under-21 ace and he watched him in action against Toulouse at the weekend.
The right-sided 19-year-old is already attracting attention from Ligue 1 giants Monaco and has even been shown around the facilities at the Stade Louis II, while Milan and Juventus have also been alerted to his progress.
The rival interest, though, is unlikely to deter Wenger who is the master at raiding his homeland - with Emmanuel Adebayor another arrival from across The Channel at the beginning of the year.
Gourcuff has come through the youth ranks at The Stade de la Route-de-Lorient and made his first team bow in 2004.
His major breakthrough has come this season as has started 24 games and bagged six goals."

No no nooooooooo! It's such a shame! Why do we have to sell off our biggest talents! I hope we can hold onto him, because we're not going to take that step up otherwise.
Thanks for keeping us informed.

Yes, it's terrible every year all the french clubs lost their biggests talents.Ribéry will no more be here next year too. But Gourcuff is a true breton, so i'm sure he will stay at Rennes to show his love for the club. | |
