It was to be expected. Maybe the departures of our manager and Kallstrom persuaded him that a life in Rossoneri-land was worthwhile...he must be desperate...<<sigh>>
-Rennes/Lille: 1-2 Rennes's defense was very bad, but it was a very young defense. Bodmer's goal was sublime. And who was watching the match in the stadium ? Källström !
-PSG/Lorient : 2-3 !!! (thanks to Fiorese's goals. Fiorese is an ex PSG's player...) So thank you to Gourcuff, Lorient's coach and Yoann Gourcuff's father.
Yes, Rennes looked terrible at the back but I wouldn't worry if we have the 'right' to post video links on this site, it could be the only way for us 'rosbifs' ( ) to get to see French football!
Don't tell Internazionale, (where are you by the way?), but I think that Rennes could be for the drop this season un less they sort it out......quickly!
Some news of Yoann Gourcuff. Gourcuff says that he has decided to play with Milan because an opportunity like that only happens once in a life. Aparrently he learned a lot near the big stars like Maldini. Ancelloti says that Yoann is shy and very well educated.
Yes, I'm back! Back from 3 weeks away in wonderful Ghana (well, apart from the Malaria that hospitalised me for most of the first week ) Being in a third world country, with little access to phones/tv etc I had no idea what was going on in the rest of the world, so I'm pretty disgusted but unsurprised at what's going on at Rennes. I just don't understand anything about the club anymore. I think you're right FJ, we definitely are candidates for relegation. We normally start abysmally, but with such an inexperienced manager, and a board with little aspiration we're only sinking in one direction. I don't know where hope is going to come from at the moment.
What a miserable way to return. At least Inter are going from strength to strength
Were you working in Ghana? Hey man, Sedan don't look too good either but I have every faith in a swift recovery!! I hope Rennes improve too!! Might have to get a new board first though!!
Yes, it was my first African experience. I did some voluntary work on a village school which was very rewarding. I was also recording for my local BBC radio station so that should be on within a fortnight.
Signing a 34 year old keeper isn't exactly a great replacement for an international goalie, 10 years his junior! At least he shares my birthday.
