In any case, I really think Lyon can do it this year. Not that that would persuade people to have more respect for Ligue 1, though. Porto and Liverpool winning has already devalued the tournament in most people's eyes (whether right or wrong).
But there's no doubt that the French league is looked down upon. True, it doesn't have the same glamour, but when 20th-placed Strasbourg almost win in Rome, you have to wonder what's going on. And Lens' win over Sampdoria was not unexpected at all as far as I was concerned. They're a team who can get a result when they need it and I can see them beating Udinese as well.

Plus, Ajax won 6-0 at the weekend with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scoring 4 of them. We just won't be able to contain him, because our defence is excessively reshuffled and therefore unsettled)
Rangers 0-2 Villareal Why did you predict such a confident Rangers victory, Macca? They've been pitiful this season in all competitions. They were lucky in the group phase that they had such an easy group. Villarreal won 4-0 yesterday!

Wahey!!!!! Got the Barcy/Chelski result right but I completely forgot to include the Juve/Bremen match. Just goes to show how much attention you lot pay cos you all missed it too!
Arsenal will probably end up with either Juve, Barcy or Milan, but it doesn't really matter to me because if we keep creating the chances we did against Madrid, it won't be a problem! Oh, that and keeping concentration at the back, plus also the return of a few key players!
