can anyone update me on the following players that are supposed to be joining rangers.kim kallstrom,Peter Odemwingie and Tavlaridis how good are they and has anyone heard anymore speculation.
Tavlaridis, are you having a laugh? He's an Arsenal reject but probably benefited from playing a lot more 1st team footy in France. I suppose he's not that bad, he'd slide effortlessly into the Rangers set up!
Odemwingie is a player who has always failed to live up to his reputation. Pacy attacker who has a fair but limited goal tally. Bit light-weight. He'd certainly be the best player in the Rangers squad though.
I've heard that Micoud wanted to go back to Italy (he used to play for Parma). He's a decent attacking midfielder. Don't know much about his current form since he's in the Bundesliga.
I thought Micoud was going back to Italy, too! Oh well, with Le Guen seemingly buying up Ligue 1's top players and any other fairly good French players it looks like they could take that 9in)famous tag from Arsenal!
karl pierre fanfan is supposed to be going back to france this summer, was linked troyes and bordeaux in local paper this morning.he has been terrible us,i just hope he is better back in france
Sounds like he is looking to bring in some good players! Like you say as long as he can clear out some of the dross McLeish brought in too, Bernard, Fanfan - Krigarikos (sp?) has gone back to Greece now
Le Guen seems to have got someting right at Rangers. I'm not sure what transfers he's made or who he has got rid of but he's getting the results. It helps that Celtic aren't playing very well either!
For me Paul Le guen is the third best french coach. My top 5 would be:
1.Arsene Wenger 2.Guy Roux (but he is no more coach) 2.Paul Le guen 3.Claude Puel 4.Didier Deschamps
I love the way he works, and his very respectful atittude with people. He was very apreciate by his players at Lyon. I hope he will be good in Scotland, apparently it's a good beginning for them, 2 win and 2 draw.
No, he will not come back. He is too old, and now he is a commentator for the french channel Canal +. I like his comments, but sometimes he talks too much !
Oups yep i've forgotten Houllier. Even if i don't like him he is a good coach. Where would you place him? Maybe between Puel and Deschamps.
No Je suis joking I would not have Houllier anywhere near the top 5 considering the damage he done in England. However I am surprised Lyon have not gone downhill since his arrival, oh well give it time
ah ok i did'nt know if it was sarcastic or not. I remember that last year, after Le guen's resignation, Wiltord said to the journalists : "Not Houllier !"... But apparently he is doing a good job at Lyon, so we will see.

I predicted Lyon to reach the semi-final of the champions league this season. Perhaps Houllier has matured as a manager, or simply that he can handle the Lyon style better than the Liverpool style...
I think Houllier's problem is that he is a very bad judge of character and is consequently terrible in the transfer market. Thankfully for Lyon they have a brilliant nuclues of players before he arrived. Houllier also seemed to 'mother' his players too much and is in my opinion not tough enough.
Hum, it's a very good question Seriously i don't know. Where did you read this?
After "what did Materrazzi say to Zizou?" and "Where did this pizza comes from?" ;we have "PLG's full name is jean paul Le guen?" . Too much mysteries in football
