Je ne serais pas trop sur. If Man Utd can lose to Burton Albion Like they did a couple of weeks ago (admittedly a friendly) then Corte are strong enough to beat us.
Yo ho, I'm back after being tres busy over the Christmas period, rendre viste aux grand-meres and such like, trying to keep the fake smile seem genuine after my 21st pair of socks (not joking, I did get that many). My Sky package finally started to work yesterday after a fortnight (in which I've forked out nearly £100 on being put on hold and paying for a service I wasn't receiving). That means that I finally have Eurosport, and Bravo so I'm well chuffed, but that doesn't increase the amount of French football on telly sadly.
Having the matches at home will only mean that the stadiums will be half-empty. Not good for the atmosphere...
-Ajaccio/ Lyon :1-2 ( Govou in the last minutes...) -PSG/Auxerre: 1-0 !pfff -Colmar/Monaco :1-0 !!! I don't know what's happend in Monaco. -Lorient/Lille: 0-1
Oh no! We're away again! We almost lost to Corte 2 rounds ago away (well, it was acutally played at Ajaccio's ground in the end). I dread to think what will happen at Colmar if we go and play with the form we're currently in
It's brilliant seeing so many 'lesser' teams make it so far in the cup. I'm not really an expert in French football so I was hoping one of you guys could tell me why this is? It seems to happen every season?! Is it because France has two cup competitions and that the 'big boys' only play to win one of them?
Yes, i think it's because there is two cup competitions. This year Lyon didn't show their best team in the two competitions. Last year the two finals were: -Auxerre(L1)/Sedan(L2): 2-1 for la Coupe de France -Strasbourg(L1)/Caen(L2):2-1 for la Coupe de la ligue.
