It's a tough call I think... just lost lots of talented in place of talented players... I think chemistry will be weaker, but I think they've got the position covered that they 'needed' to be covered - defencive mid. I think there's a good chance for them to be stronger next season.
Lyon have lost a few players who obviously grew tired of 'walking it' every season but they do have some great talent still, Toulalan, Benzema to name but a couple. However, I believe that the chasing pack, despite losing their own stars will be seriously hungry and ready to topple l'OL.
The match Toulouse/Lyon has been terrible for Lyon: a red card for Kallstrom (it's a long story), a litlle injury for Govou, a big injury for Cris (out for 6 months !!! ) and a defeat.
Now they have to find a new very good defender, a new captain (Cris was captain, and now Juninho refuses to be the new captain...), a new goalkeeper (Coupet is injured like Cris, he is out for 4 months ), and certainly one more striker.
Fred is still injured and said that he wants to leave (big problems between him and the club). And the rumours said that now, with this situation, Juninho is a bit lost and maybe he wants to leave too !
Ah and about Wiltord it's easy, he wants to play with Rennes but Lyon refuses, so it's the clash.
So, it seems as things are startting to NOT go their way, the toys are coming out of the pram and they all get stroppy!! Juninho really dissapoints me, he has been at the club for a while now and he is a bit of a legend for the club and as soon as he gets the chance to sort it out by becoming the captain, he shirks and cries! What a loser!! I wonder if this is what will become of Chavski, hope so!!
Anyway, on a brighter note, it could be the saviour that ligue 1 needs. Another champion would rejuvinate the league or on the other hand Lyon will go out and spend a load of cash on new players that 'really' want to play for them!
Then again who would want to go there? Especially when the Prem will probably snap them up!
About Juninho, he was captain last year and as it did'nt work very well last year, he thinks that it's better to choose a new captain.
Me i hope that the real Lyon will come back. Because we will be ridiculous in the Champion's league if Lyon play like that ! They need to be strong again.

Me, the only thing that i like about Lyon this year is the fact that Fabio Grosso, after 2 months in France, speaks french .
